Find out who you’re dealing with.
If the following paragraphs don’t do it for you, get in touch with me and we’ll arrange a call (or a coffee, if possible).
Born and raised in a small, uninspiring harbour town in northern Germany, I moved to Berlin to become a journalist. Instead, I studied playwriting at the Berlin University of the Arts and, after graduating and a one-year writing scholarship, founded a production company in 2008.
Being a freelance writer in Berlin is not particularly lucrative, which is why I took on side jobs as a copywriter. I quickly realised that my skills as a writer and dramaturge could be transferred perfectly to the business world. In 2014, I quit theatre altogether and have worked primarily as a communications consultant ever since.
In 2019, I founded a consulting agency in the field of digitalisation and urban development with a business partner. Since 2018, I have been a regular guest lecturer at the ZHDK, where I support students in the areas of conceptual design, personal branding and marketing.
I have been living in Basel, Switzerland, since 2013, where I have started a family and obtained dual citizenship. I am the father of a daughter, a passionate cook, craftsman, gardener and a dedicated mental health advocate.
Things I would like to do but can ‘t fit in anymore:
- finally learn Italian, the third language in Switzerland
- play in a band
- own a dog
- make more short films with my child
- learn to draw better
